Dear Friends,
We have come to a bittersweet crossroads here at the restaurant. Our conclusion is that the time has come for Pizzavino 707 to hand over operations to a new & exciting team of local restaurateurs. Our last day of service will be Sunday, August 28th. While we here feel positive about the quality of food, hospitality and overall experience that we were able to produce over the last two plus years (and are very grateful for the community of friends that came to share with us), we were not able to surmount the economic challenges facing us. We truly want to thank all of you who became part of our extended family of eaters and drinkers and to tell you once again that it was a pleasure to serve you. That said, there is consolation in sharing the news of the lively and flavorful new venture that will soon arrive at this post here on the plaza. A novel and distinctly appropriate gathering place is coming, one conceived of, and managed by, familiar Sebastopol folks. Their notion of how to thoughtfully and fully take advantage of this facility is an exciting one. They expect to open soon (probably by mid-October) and details of their enticing notions about food and drink will be emerging soon.
